Observations I made during the testing

The Maker started by organizing the pieces by color and shape, which helped with the building process.

The Instructor adjusted their instructions based on the Maker’s actions, ensuring clarity when mistakes were made.

Both the Maker and Instructor worked collaboratively, with the Instructor adding more descriptors (e.g., “dark grey SINGULAR”)

The Maker often waited for confirmation.

When pieces were missing, the Maker was able to predict where they might go.

Observations made about my role in the test

As an Observer, I was able to notice small interactions that might have gone unnoticed

The Maker and Instructor had a good flow, adjusting to each other’s communication styles over time.

Clear instructions were crucial, especially when describing similar-looking pieces.

The Maker’s ability to predict the next steps improved as the build progressed.
